I am I, and wish I wasn’t so fucking uncomfortable about it.
We photographed Gerard Way (who is the former frontman of My Chemical Romance and now releasing a solo album) for a feature in NME and it was one of those shoots where everything aligned perfectly and all of us were vibing and having fun and creating so many different looks in a little amount of time just because it was fun. We’ve got so much more to share from this one, stay tuned… | Brinson + Banks

does this man ever shut the hell up
God i hate to say this but, he’s actually correct in a sense, when it comes to evolution. If we want our species to continue to progress eliminating children with handicaps would make us a “healthier” species.
"hey look, not to be mean or anything, but we should probably have a down’s syndrome holocaust to make everything okay with the world" are you fucking hearing yourself
NO, having leg hair is not dirty!
NO, guys will not be grossed out by you/not like you!
SOME guys will think it’s unusual that you don’t shave your legs, but it’s not worth pursuing anyone who can’t get over a little body hair. And if you begin a committed relationship with someone and after a while they say “You know, I’d find it really attractive if you shaved your legs.” then that’s something to think about. There are *ahem* certain parts of my body that i don’t regularly shave, but I’ll do it occasionally because i know my boyfriend likes it when I do. But don’t get me wrong, he’s extremely attracted to me whether or not I shave and my body hair does NOT get in the way of our sex life.
And just so everyone knows: this is not only a feminist issue. Making someone feel bad/disgusting just because YOU don’t like the way they groom their body is not just misogynistic, it’s straight-up mean. And girls do it, too, which is kind of even worse than guys doing it.
By the by: this is all being said by a straight girl who does indeed shave her legs. I am not defending my personal habits, but defending the basic rights of every woman who has ever felt bad about her body. So don’t anyone tell me I don’t understand this issue because I’m lesbian or don’t shave my legs.
there is a teen sleepover happening in my house rn.
